So why the last two weeks and not since the start of 2017? Well, first I had to get a pass mark on my study that I've been conducting the last months. If you have read some recent blog posts you'll know it as I have complained about it and how a scientific study isn't something I should have to do as a journalist. I still think so but wont go into it again, enough about that.
At first I got Fx, which means something like "Failed like it is now but with small corrections it's alright or better. Well, me and my colleague spend some time correcting what was reasonable criticism and then one week later got confirmed that we passed. We got a D on a scale from A to E and with an F as fail. D is also my usual goal when it comes to tests, it means I wasn't dangerously close to failing but still didn't spend far "too much" time on it. When it comes down to writing an article and practical journalist my attitude is different tho, then I'm all in.
Well, that being done life has as I said been pretty calm, and I like it that way. I've been doing a little bit of writing but mainly just funny half-finished poems that still need a lot of work to be anything worth presenting, if they ever will be. Right now I'm watching a tv-series on my computer. I saw the second half of the first episode on the tv while eating breakfast and it caught my interest. That also happened to be the first episode and I've now seen episode five, will watch at least six for days for sure.
The series is called The Coroner and is a bit like Sherlock Holmes, except for the superior inteligence of the main character. Well, the characters are entertaining and the plot well written in my opinion so just a good series well worth a watch. Each episode is 45 minutes long. The only thing that is a bit weird is that every episode starts with the same musics and some kind of view over a beach before something actually happens. The music isn't odd but why a beach? And always a different one. Anyway, go check it out if you like detective/mystery series. The easiest way is to google "The coroner watch free online", as soon as you've clicked away two ads or popups it works just fine. Googling "insert series watch free online" is almost always my way of finding stuff that I want to watch tho.
If you check it out, let me know if you liked it. And until next time blog, which might be starting with the dutch Goedendag instead of good day.
