Thursday was also the day when I went to my summer house to celebrate midsummer with my relatives. Instead of going home after the camp I took the subway to my fathers work where we had our car. After a shower there we picked up my cousin and headed to the summer house. It's always good to have some company when you're gonna sit in a car for a while, especially when it turned out to be 4 hours instead of the predicted 2.5 due to traffic jam. Upon arrival it was good to see my cousins again. It was quite late so we only stayed up for a few hours, then went to bed in stupid ways. What I mean with stupid ways? Well, me and my three cousins there slept on madrasses in our living room while our parents took the real beds. For some reason none of us took the empty room with 2 beds. Cousin 1 slept well, nothing strange there. Cousin 2 woke up freezing after a few hours and got the incredible idea of using a beach chair cushion as an extra blanket. I was a bit smarter, I was cold too but instead of his solution I went to the empty room we had all forgotten and took a real blanket. Funny that I didn't notice cousin 3 sleeping half a meter away from me. He had taken the room to get away from my snoring. Shame I took a blanket from the other bed and not his blanket without noticing, that would have been quite hillarious. Oh well, at least we all got some sleep even if the matresses weren't very comfortable.
Friday, woke up late and ate breakfast quickly, then I went to see my grandpa at his retirement home, not very far away by car. Being 101, soon 102 he is quite tired and mainly sits in his chair with soda and chocolate. It's quite hard having a real conversation with him, it's mainly loose sentences like that we are all in the summer house and that person x is doing fine. He sadly has these awake dreams about that something has happened to one of his children or other people he knows. I'm glad he understands that it is dreams, and seems to be decently happy sitting in his chair or lying in his bed. At least he can eat and drink as much bad stuff as he wants, cookies and such, that kind of health issues isn't really a problem when you're 101. It was great seeing him again as I don't know how many more times I will. When I came back to our summer house the rest of my relatives had arrived and we had a great midsummer together with good food and bad weather. Next day, Saturday we made our own schnapps songs with a lot of laughter. After a few hours of throwing dart, playing football, working in the garden and other stuff it was time to head back to Stockholm. I arrived yesterday evening and today I havn't really done that much, gotta get up early tomorrow for work and the weather is bad so havn't had much to do really. I would write that it can't be worse weather than last week anyway but for some reason I think I will be proved wrong if I state that. Oh well, cya peeps. Almost time to go to bed for me.
