The first one was a quote that read something like "We think a lot about propagandizing for X but we don't really propagandize for them. Sounds stupid? Well, it was pretty stupid, it took us two or three minutes of thinking and discussing - The one of us who had written it said she took the quote directly from the transcription of the recorded interview - to realise that the second "propagandize" should actually be "affirmative action". The words are a bit more similar in Swedish but not very, however we all make mistakes and it just gave us a laugh.
The second laugh came when I was editing the page and my friend came up to me, at the moment without much to do, and suggested we put a cow into the text. I asked him exactly why we would do that or if he was joking. He told me it would give some space for the reader in the text - good point - and make the text cover up a bit more of the page - which was needed-, so he had some good points but I was still very confused. Then I understood and asked him if he meant horse, which he did. That gave us quite a lot of laughter, usually people don't mix up cows and horses but I guess it can happen.
Third and last case that I'll mention here was when I was proofreading the text and pointed out that the same friend had written the normal Swedish name Josefin but mixed up the letters a bit. In the text it read "Jofesin". Not that funny normally but here we laughed very very much.
We finished our work a bit before three and were happy to be able to head home and have a free Wednesday before analysing the other groups works and preparing feedback for them on Thursday. Sounds like a quite good day of work I guess? Starting at ten and finishing a bit before three and making some funny mistakes.
It would have been if I had worked slightly less than five hours, however that wasn't the case, ten to three isn't necessarily five hours. With that sentence written I'll let you figure out the rest and why we laughed so much without good reason and did so stupid mistakes. This was the toughest day by far but also far from the only tough day so I'll let you figure out why I havn't had the energy to write a blog post earlier either :)
