After the test I'll have "preparation for my internship", I'm not sure exactly what I'll be doing but I have the course to refresh my skills as a journalist after a break during christmas. I'm not staying in Sundsvall for long, the course only lasts two weeks and after that I'll head home for the internship.
It will be great to be back in Sundsvall for a while and meet my friends. Or well, it will mainly be great to meet my friends, winter has struck. It's fairly cold and snowy here in Stockholm, the snow came a week ago or so. There's no huge difference between Stockholm and Sundsvall in snow and temperature ( -12 in Stockholm, - 16 in Sundsvall) but there will certainly be. I don't know when but if I'm unlucky the "real winter" comes when I'm there.
With real winter I mean a meter of snow and even colder. I dislike anything colder than -5 so I'm not overly happy. Oh well, I guess I'll hope that the company of my friends warms my heart more than the cold freezes it. That sentence was a bit cliché but I'll let it stay.
After these weeks in Sundsvall I will be back a few days in June. Whoever decided that we had to go back only to talk about our experiences during the internship was truly cruel. After that I wont be back until September. Then I have my last half year of studies, and then I'm done for good. It feels quite weird that I have so little time left in Sundsvall. I don't love the city but I'll definately visit it again and look forward to such visits.
I'm glad that the last half year consists of a bit of summer as well, in early September. I really prefer Sundsvall then. The environment is very beautiful as the city is between two mountain and the entire terrain is a bit up and down unlike Stockholm which is mostly flat. The view is equally good in winter as in summer but it's not as nice to take a walk in, something I enjoy doing in Sundsvall. Nice nature is something Sundsvall definately beats Stockholm at.
The photo is taken by my friend Andreas Eriksson from his apartment window and shows Sundsvall in summer and winter. It's good to know photographers when you lack a picture for the blog post :)
