What I like about Christmas and this time of year is that I get to spend time with some people I rarely meet. My relatives is a good example. The 27th I'm going to Uppsala in Sweden, it's a tradition ever since I was born that my mother, her sister, her brother, and family meet up at my uncles place to celebrate together. Apart from midsummer it's sort of the only time that we all meet.
My relatives are still a few weeks away, but I had a start of the Christmas mood yesterday. I met up with some classmates at one guys apartment where we enjoyed mulled wine and made saffron buns together. That's what I like the most with Christmas, doing stuff together. I do realise that this sounds quite cliché but it is true. Heartbreaking as it might sound, Santa Claus doesn't mean everything to me anymore.
Another thing that's coming, as soon as tomorrow, is our news site that I wrote about last week. We're going to be an official news site for three and a half day, starting tomorrow morning at 8.00. I can't really say what I'm working with as we're three different groups with three different news sites in my class. And obviously we're spying on one another trying to overhear some scoop another group has. I know that I wrote about Christmas gifts being a bit unneccessary but in this case I'd really appreciate a gift in the shape of a Facebook like. Here's the link to our Facebook page, Origo Nyheter. It is in Swedish but a like is very welcome even from those of you who don't know the language as we're competing with two other groups, for likes among other things.
Before calling it a night I'll just correct a short thing about what Christmas is to me.
I mean what I wrote about doing stuff together but the most important thing is obviously opening one window each day on my chocolate calendar.
