We went to see some cultural stuff, one thing was a large fortress. Usually I'm no fan of seeing such but that was actually pretty cool. We also visited the kings place and garden at Öland called Solliden. Nothing particular but they had a Hitmonlee, a nice Pokémon that I and the 3 other players caught. We were eight in total and four of us played, not too bad. See last weeks post about Pokemon Go if you don't understand what I'm talking about.
We also paid a visit to Långe Jan at the southern end of Öland, Swedens largest lighthouse. There were a lot of birds as well as some seels that we saw very well with a telescope. Combined with good food, gokart, bathing and beach volleyball it was a nice week. The only thing that wasn't so lovely was our house, which was a bit of a wreck.
I'm not the type that cares much about style or how stuff looks but that the roof was a bit broken was a bit more than I like too, or that the water is full of sulfur. It was no problem buying some water bottles to drink but smelling worse after a shower than before it wasn't very pleasant. Thankfully it wasn't harmful in any way.
I guess it's reasonable to expect flies but they gave me quite some trouble focusing when I was writing an article for my paper. My deadline was on Sunday but I didn't want to do it all on the last day and I would be spending Saturday in a car on the way back to Stockholm. I think I finished my article on Thursday. Sunday was for editing. It wasn't all chill tho, it was quite a test and challenge. Unlike previous times I wouldn't have anyone doublechecking, I was completely responsible for editing my sports page and sending it to the publisher.
It took me quite some time but I'd say it went well, I hope my bosses agree. I'll meet them tomorrow to edit my next article - Doesn't hurt to be earlier than deadline. -. I wrote said article today, which also went well.

The pic is of me in a throne in the ruins of the fortress, probably not the same one the ruler used but who knows.
