I'm leaving for Stockholm 29/1 so I have a bit more than one week left here in Sundsvall. A week of journalistic tasks to referesh my skills but also a week of a lot of fun to say goodbye. In one hour I'm going to run to a sports hall a few kilometers away and play football. My bruises from last Thursday are almost gone so it's time to go at it again. I am far from good at football but it's a lot of fun so I don't care that much. In fact it's great being an underdog that surprises when managing to score a goal instead of having high expectations like when I'm running or playing chess etc. Correction: The game we play is futsal, indoor football with few players and a small field, much more fun than "real" football in my opinion.
I am looking forward to my internship and being able to spend time with my friends in Stockholm for sure. I'm very glad that I get this chance to improve as a journalist and work for a magazine that comes out once a week, which is probably similar to what I aim for in the future. I prefer having a bit of time to find the best person to contact instead of stressing and finding the first reasonably good one, which is common in daily newspapers or on news sites. Still, it's always sad with goodbyes. The best friend that I had to say goodbye to is probably my Italian flatmate Michele, he left for Italy this Tuesday. I am actually going on a trip to Italy this summer so we might meet there but it's unlikely as it isn't that close. Meeting nice people like him is the reason I choose to live in a shared apartment instead of on my own. That and the price, I can't deny that the price plays a part too as it's a lot cheaper. If it cost the same I'm not really sure what I would choose to be honest. At least if my flatmate was nice.
Well, all times come to an end :) Now I've been writing for 45 minutes since I wrote that I'm leaving for some futsal in an hour so time to get ready for that. Cya folks.
The pic is of me and Michieboy. I hope you don't mind the bottles, it's the best picture I could find.
