My boss at NVP was nice enough to give me a new chance to do it all with him watching over this weekend and I did. He had already done all the writing but that isn't what I'm worried about so I didn't mind it that much. My worry is that I will forget something when I edit the page, like a picture not being in level with the text and such. There are many small details that need to be fixed and I wanna be sure I don't miss any, which is hard. I've decided to do as much of the work as I can on Saturday and then send it to my boss for a quick look before I finish it on Sunday. That should cover any important mistakes if I make any so it feels quite good. I'm actually looking forward to this weekend.
What else do I have to write? Well, I'm going to the Swedish island Öland for a week with my father and some family friends of ours. It's known to be sunny and I hope it will live up to its reputation. Last year we spent a week at the west coast and the weather was horrible.
I've also played two chess tournaments and will play one more tomorrow, they both went a little worse than normal but not too bad. On the first one I also met a person who I used to compete with as a kid ten years ago, when we were both among the best chess players born 1994 in Sweden.
But even if the chess didn't go very well another game has. I found a guy to coach me in the strategy cardgame Hearthstone that I've been quite good at on my own but not nearly as good. Playing with the things I'm learning from this guy I managed to get to rank 104 in all of Europe. I don't know how many players there are in Europe but 50 million play the game worldwide each month according to official statistics and most winners of championships and such are from here so the majority probably plays in Europe. I am far from the best and not every really good player has gotten a rank this month but it's still thrilling to know I can be there and fight them. I did actually meet a famous streamer in a game. For those who don't know: A streamer is someone who sends live from his own computer. And during our game 676 people were watching this guy. Quite an audience and I managed to win, which felt really good.
I know this post wasn't the best thing I've written on the blog but sometimes you just don't have "that flow" that makes you write well. I hope it will return soon and that you readers will bear with me.
