The big news for this post: I have started studying Spanish, a half-year course. Finding a job as a journalist is challenging to say the least. I decided to take a break from it and study again. Studying gives you a bit of cash in Sweden and learning a new language is always useful. Speaking four languages fluently would look good on the CV as well. I've studied for three weeks now. The pace is quite high but not more than I can handle. I also have some previous experience so I'm not starting from zero.
So far I like it, the teachers are good. We have had a lot less interaction with each other in the class than I had in Amsterdam and Sundsvall, where I studied previously. There we did things together all the time but here most people just go to the classes and then go home. I'm not really sure why but me and my friend has being thinking of trying to get people together for some event to get to know each other a little. Perhaps just a bar visit for two hours or so, who knows. I just need a method of contacting everyone at once, so I don't leave people out. We have no Facebook group so I'll just have to see if I manage somehow.
I'm also doing some proofreading and improving the language for an international company in Sweden, a little bit of extra cash and I do need cash. Except for that I keep being a teacher at language cafés and meeting some friends and/or playing table tennis in the weekends. Life goes on, simple as that. In the future? Well, nothing especially new planned. I might have a minor acting role soon but probably just three seconds of screentime or so. Still, life goes on and can't complain too much about that. My birthday Is in two months and one day, 30/3, so that's something to look forward to.
Hope you readers are having a good time as well, adios for now!
